About Netdisco

Netdisco is an SNMP-based L2/L3 network and web based management tool designed primarily for large and medium networks and targeting large corporate and university admins.

Netdisco is an open source, web based network administration tool, aimed primarily for administrators handling large networks such as universities and large corporations in need or a high volume of labeling and cataloging. Additional features:
- Uses Postgres database and SNMP for MAC and IP
- Find details on the fly by mac and ip for a certain computer on the network.
- turn off a port with details of why it was done
- model, vendor, switch-card, firmware and operating system inventory
- detailed reports on activity.
